Since I really enjoyed working on the repeat pattern I created earlier this year. I decided to take it a step further by refining it into something that could be used as an execution in my portfolio. Doing so I began by adding color and depth to the original floral design making it a lot more captivating and easy on the eye. To ensure continuity when repeating the pattern I had to first repeat the lines and color in everything within the connecting shapes lines so that different areas of shading would match up perfectly. I then Repeated the newly colored in pattern.

I was happy with the new repeatable color pattern and began ideating ways to put it into action. I thought up a brand which could use something like what I had made. Then I did a mock up of a book cover which could be for instance a scrap book. The brand identity I thought up is called "Dew" I liked the simplicity of the word and its close relation with my design, it made me think of dew on flowers which is also water and led me to the idea of a drink brand. To further embody this brand idea I mocked up the floral pattern onto a white bottle which matched the aesthetic I was going for with the cork elements and geometric frame it had. Finally I picked a font which flowed in relation to my floral designs anatomy and arranged the pattern to repeat around the bottle leaving an open area for my drinks name on the front of the bottle.
