Typography Primer

I constructed a Typography primer. This is a book which explains and dissects the different forms and functions and placing of typography. The book has a margin grid of 12mm on the left, 12mm on the bottom, 12mm on the top and 12mm on the right. A gutter of 2mm and I assigned a bleed of 5mm. this gave me an evenly space layout for reference and guide to where I should place my text and other objects. I chose two typefaces to alternate between throughout the book, they are called Iskoola Pota and franklin Gothic Book. I made use of only InDesign’s tools while constructing this booklet. The booklet is themed after what had made Vikings so successful throughout the ages. I deduced that this was their incredible way of living as warriors and their great advantage over skills in battle, not to mention their fearlessness. Overall it encompasses elements of warfare which was the main factor leading to their success
